Hey
I saw "Fuchs Type 4 for Modern Japanese transmissions" trans oil today at Bursons and wondered if anyone else had used it?
Fuchs specs say it's for the Soarer trans apparently.
Any one know?
I've got a new old 32 that needs fresh blood all round.

in the past only toyota type 4 has worked in the V8s. TT gear box can use other fluids/oils.

you would need to take a punt and try it, or stay with the tried and proven toyota 4.

I wouldn't bother considering they make it hard to identify it's specs on their website. Stupid how they do that.

Penrite MHP or FS ATF are both products I've used and have no issues in the 4 Speed / 5 Speed V8 autos.

Or Just use original Toyota fluid if you want. I think it's a type of Mobil ATF.

Alright, I've finally purchased a car of real interest, not that my UZZ31 isn't, but now I'm a marked man.
Wonderful.
Yes I'll soon get online and update who owns this thing once I get to know it , only having driven it twice in order to get it sorted out.
Suspension struts on this one rebuilt by Peter (Guru) Taplin and as far as I can tell it's working but needs to be setup correctly. All in due course.
