I recently (5 months ago) had my a s/h transmission put in my car as my old one had terrible shifting problems and was slipping under 50% throttle or more.

Anyway i've noticed over the last few months the transmission "shuddering" under WOT. Shifting is quick (quicker then i thought it would be on a stock auto) and the trans is fine under normal driving conditions.

Apparently the mechanic put DX3 in the box so i ordered in some Type IV last week and got him to flush it with that (12ltrs).

Sadly there is still no change :/ I have reset the ECU to no avail as well.

Anyone had this happen before?

Regards,
Drew

edit: btw i forgot to add, the shuddering seems to stop around the 6k mark and the car feels like it almost jumps forward with so much more power getting thru to the wheels.

It could be the tailshaft CV joint or something like that.

It could be a lock-up clutch problem If the clutch is not disengaging when it should (sticky solenoid etc) it will shudder under WOT.

Lock up clutch diagnosis is easy, unplug the control wire, it won't work then and so won't shudder.

I'm only using it because Dx3 wasn't working..
