well it seems my syncros are fine,
but the internal selector is worn,
what would be the costs to get this part changed?
anyone know a rough est? or could refer me to someone who knows this gearbox? at a decent yet cheaply priced?

Cause they are a bit harder to find and are in some cases stronger than the other boxes ( besides the V160 )
Parts are readily available for them here in Aus..Most gearbox shops can rebuild them..
As the Hiace shares the box's internals *to some degree*( its just got a smaller input shaft )

thanks Neil, still doesnt resolve my question on the costs, i HAEV looked around, but no way am i going to pay $1400-2750 (theses were quotes) for full rebuilds, all i want is the internal selector changed, rear seal is a 10min job if that.
