Booked my car in for a trany mount replacement and trany fluid flush. Learnt 2 new things. The trany only has 1 mount (thought it had 2) and S&LC will not completely flush the trany fluid using the cooler lines.
They will only drain pan, clean filter, and re-seal it. According to the guy I spoke with, this will get rid of about 4L of the 8L the trany system has. I thought you guys said it was about 2L or so.
All up im up for $340. Does that sound right fellas? What trany fluid do they use for V8's. Cant remember the name of the guy I spoke with. A lady first picked up the phone and then was passed on to the gentleman that booked me in. Does all this sound resnoble???

$340 sounds a bit steep for a tranny service. I had mine done a month ago for $150. Most tranny specialists would be able to do it cheaper. My advise is to ring around.

if you're looking for a tranny guy who knows soarers ask for dave at kewish auto's. He specialises in soarer trannys and is very reasonable. He did my solenoid + tranny flush for $330.
