Thanks for the info. mate. BTW do you have a chaser or mark II? I thought I saw you at mini jam but it was a mark II.
Also, on the topic of torque converters mine arrived today! 4000rpm stall will be going in after microleb installed and tuned as it is going to be much harder to tune with the new stally. It is nice and red too :P

They'd probably just laid down the vht s*** that makes your tyres stick to the road like s*** to a blanket.
Chris, I would have thought with a lockup switch and manual override on the box, tuning would be ok, as you could hold it in gear and lockup the convertor, so the run would be like a manual?

Yeah I suppose you are right. I was referring mainly to street tuning and take offs etc. At the moment, there is plenty of time to see what is going on but with the new stall it will flash to 4000rpm very quickly so just a bit less time to see what is going on. Sean who owns the supercrown was the one that told me to tune prior to getting stally and I believe him He has the same auto setup as I do re manualised and tc lockup.
