Hey all. Just brought a 3L soarer and im loving it but have found my first problem. It;s in the transmission. I have an auto and i find that the first time i drive my car usually for the day i have no problems. However, if i decide to stop my car, turn off the engine etc then come back to my car im a short period of time my auto transmission does not respond for a couple of minutes. When you push the button ontop i can feel it not clicking in and thus i sit their for a couple of minutes fiddling with my auto stick until eventually it responds and im away. I bought the car knowing that i had dirty transmission fluid and am going to replace it this week. Would that be the main problem as to why it's taking a couple more minutes to respond or could it be more of a mechanical problem. I noticed as well if the car has been in the sun for a long period of time it also occurs. Any help would be appreciated

"NOTE" i did do an NRMA inspection before i bought the car and it came up with no issues other than the transmission fluid being dirty

And make sure that whoever does it does a proper flush, not just a sump drain.

Ugh, that picture of the guy with the chick painted on his back is just disturbing.

What should i be asking for when asking for a "proper flush"". I just called them and they said they would to the transmission flush for $60. Is that 2 cheap?
