Hi guys I have a problem with my 91 jzz30 gearbox.
It seems to be pretty intermittent, but is getting worse, I had a gearbox flush and that seemed to kill it for a day or 2 but it came back.
When you go to take off from the lights and it is in the drive position, it won't change down to 1st, instead taking off in 2nd gear, I have to change it manually. It also does it when on the open road, but when it does it there in 4th it suddenly goes from around 2400rpm to 2800 rpm and stays there for the rest of the trip. It also does not kick down a gear when it should when the foot is planted. I have about as much clue with gearboxes as I do with the mating habits of iguanas, so any help and suggestions are appreciated.
