So.... i got a soarer about a month ago, at the moment i can't find any problems with it other than a slight problem when i reverse occasionally. This usually occurs after i have driven the car for a certain amount of time and thus have warmed up the engine etc. When i reverse my car i usually just put it in reverse and roll it out without pressing of the accelerator to get it out of the driveway, although i have noticed that sometimes i get a weird noise coming from the car when accelerating and reversing. It can be best described as a clanging noise which emits itself from the right front wheel of the car (it feels like it's coming from their). I'm not sure why but i can usually tell when it's going to occur when i start my car up as i notice a slight wobbling or rumbling from the steering wheel. The noise also increases if more acceleration is applied. Going forwards is no problem at all and this does only happen occasionally although i would still like to know what the problem is. I have been told to change my transmission fluid but i don't think that would make a difference although i am unsure. What you guys think?

Nilhan, I use Toyota type 4 in my JZZ31 and its nice and smooth, so yes, I'd recommend it.

I'd agree with Justin on the clunk, sounds like a steering and/or suspension wear issue.

Depending on what it is. If it's just a stuffed brake pad then it wont be expensive.
Take it to Niall in Botany if you can't find the problem yourself.

Niall's in the mechanics guide.
