i have read on an earlier thread that when replacing the auto pan, it is better to use a gasket goo rather than replace the gasket as they always leak.

what is the best approach, new gasket, or some kind of gasket goo????

no gasket!!..tripple (3) bond gasket goo.

AFAIK there never has been a gasket. Always the goo.

Definitely a gasket i wouldn't get any sort of sealer anywhere near an auto.....i have to fix the damn things..

3bond is available from toyota, and i believe from mitsubishi.
