1st gear is fine when in L, 2nd gear is ok unless pressure then it will slip, 3rd slips completley/wont go in gear, same with 4th and Reverse is gone!!!!! The shift kit worked fine for 2-3 months but failed about a week after getting the torque converter locked up. Could this me a pressure issue in the valve body ? I've been told that it the sprag on the input shaft into the gearbox. My automechanic wants to put a new box in but i have suspicions its may be just the valve body that has failed or springs have collapsed not closing valves

any help would be greatly appreciated

cheers

Check the solendoids.

Torque converter locked up? Do you mean stall speed increased?
