hey guys, took some pics of the rear gearbox mounts the other night with a mate. Not sure if they are broken or not, but the rubber is no longer sticking to the metal plate?

Wayne - that could be a front wheel balance issue as well.
If it was the rear g/box mounts, you would likely feel the vibration mostly through the gearlever, and kind of through your butt, or maybe feet, up through the floorpan.
Im saying this because I have a very similar vibration that is rev-related, so must be a part of the driveline vibrating somewhere, I'm thinking mine will be diff mounts.

Mine looked perfectly fine, but I changed them anyways. Found that the new ones lifted the box up about 25mm. So, if you can't get your finger in where you have the crowbar, they are collapsed

Was reading this thread as I have a slight "vibration", noise. It happens from about 40 mph to 55 mph when you put your foot down firmly, but not enough to bring in the kickdown. It's like the car has gone over those rumble strips on a motorway to remind you that you've gone out of the lane. Anybody had the same symptoms and found out what it was? It doesn't happen at any other speed or revs or gear.
