Ok, My compressor has packed it in and now I found a new one but I need somewhere to put it in. I've heard mixed things about Adelaide Car Care or "AMA". So anywhere else I can put it in?

Yo Clayton,

I looked but I couldn't find anything. Point me in the right direction. I could probably get the compressor on no probs but there's some pipe work that needs replacing as it has a leak... :-(

BTW I'm interested in how different our cars sound. I've got pretty much the same exhaust setup cept with the rush 1 3/4 headers.

New compressor was $875 + $15 postage from Castle Hill Toyota. I also ordered a new dry air filter that you'll need and it was $32.90. AMA are charging $350 to put it on and make the new pipe work.

Don't get a recondition compressor. It'll set you back around $700 (if you can find one) and won't last nearly as long.

Hopefully my parts show up tomorrow and can get fitted ASAP. Damn hot weather is on it's way.

My new Compressor assembly and filter showed up today. It's getting fitted and pipes fixed Tuesday Morning. I'll post up how I go.

It's getting hot in SA and I sooooo need it.

Yeah but I actually didn't realise that until I got the car back. I spoke Les from AMA that referred me onto them, which is his Brother Peter mention by Pen in an older thread. When I took the car there I thought, that name looks familiar, so I searched it when I got back and came across that thread.

Saying that the guys have been nothing but nice to me and my car hasn't even racked up one Km when I took it there. (I always look and keep track when I drop my car anywhere.)

I'll take it back on Tuesday there. I just want it fixed, there will be me there with a baseball bat if anything happens to my car while its there though...

Got the car back. AC is working great again!

Ok, wait a min. Now the AC light is flashing again.
And the serpintine belt is dirty and making a sqeeling noise. I've fixed the belt, nothing a little dry soap couldn't fix, but the AC light still bugs me. Diagnostics doesn't bring anything up but the Solar Sensor Circuit, which is probably because it's 11:30pm.

I'll guess I'll just have to check it again tomorrow. By god it better be ok considering how much is cost me.

Weird though, when I turned off the car and to do the diagnostics then turned it back on the AC light wasn't flashing anymore, the AC was also still working when the light was flashing...
