Any aircon experts out there that know what the charge weight of HR12 is in a soarer aircon system?

I read somewhere it should be 30% of the original charge weight of R12. But i dont know what the original charge weight is for R12 in the soarer.

Anyone have ideas on this?

Cheers,

Cliff

Cheers Clayton,

Does your aircon get really cold? Mine battles in the heat. If i run the aircon before the car heats up it is fine, but after being parked in the sun for 30mins or so the aircon battles to keep up. I wonder if HR12 is cold enough, or maybe i just dont have enough gas.

Maybe it is undercharged if it's supposed to be 30% of 1000g = 300g. Mine works great and it has 300g

Yeah Daniel, i got window tinting. Your right, it make a a huge difference.
Getting back to the charge weight, I found some information on the net about HR12. Those who are interested can visit
www.hychill.com.au/
I'm going to find someone that can check the pressure, make sure I got enough gas in the system.

Well judging by that table the LS400 would be the closest AC system?? and it says 315 grams, so my AC guy has scammed me 65 Grams! I'm sure he uses the Hychill brand as well.
