Guys,
I need your help again. My heater doesn't work. A/C works fine. I ran the AC Diagnosis test and it gives me Errors 21 and 41.
I have no idea whether the Heater was working before or not. It certainly doesn't work now.
I tried bypassing the VSV Valve (i think i correctly spelled that) or something as it was mentioned in one of the posts here. I can see the control arm behind the little tank thing is moving and it has suction. Still doesn't work. The valve seems to be working fine.
Does this has to do anything with any sensors in the car? Please help..!

Thanks guys for all that help...
Well, I still have the same problem. No heating!!! sometimes it heats up a little bit. Most of the time its cold air. Error code I'm getting is 41.
41 = Failure of mode damper servor potentiometre How to repair = Check potentiometre, connector or wiring harness
And where can I find this confusing thing, potentiometre???
Filled the radiator with coolant. Didn't work. VSV valve bypass didn't work either. All the connectors are properly connected. I went through all the posts in this site about air conditioning/heating. But still NO HEATING..!

I hate to be a killjoy, BUT is it possible that the heater matrix sprung a leak on the previous owner, and rather than having to shell out MAJOR bucks on yanking the dash out & repairing (which = MEGA bucks!), he just blocked it off as the CHEAP option, hopefully that's NOT the case, and it's something considerably simpler.

Also check the coolant level in the bolt just above the thermostat housing, there can be 1-2 litres of air trapped in their which also means no hot water for the heater.
Check the "Change Thermostat" tutorial if you want pics of where it is.

I agree with Peter on this.
My heater wasn't working, and once Peter and i looked at it, we noticed that my repairer did not fill up the area above the thermostat housing. About 2 litres went in, and at first it was still cool. A little later it was happy days, and it was sooo hot inside i had to strip down to the jocks just so i could get home...haha

Heated water is travelling through the hose to the left of the VSV. And even the water levels are topped up. I checked the area above the thermostat valve and its full too... now I don't know what to do... any1 knows anything else I can try??? or should I take it to a repairer???
