Hi guys,
ever since i did my fmic install my aircon hasn't been as cold as it used to. I know that the fmic sits in front of the aircon condensor but is it just a coincidence? I guess this question really goes out to those who have FMIC's and what they've done to upgrade their aircon. Do i need a better compressor or maybe upgrade the condensor? If so what options do i have?

Thats the thing, i got mine regassed with dye and checked for leakage a few months back. Might have to go check again or maybe i should do a daniel lee and upgrade the compressor so it'll be ultra cool.

im guessing that the problem could also be that you may not be getting the right amount of air flow across you condenser due to the fmic being stuck infront of it now and/or the air temp hitting you condenser isn't ambient temp anymore coz you got fmic, it will raise temperature of the air hitting your condenser above the ambient.
i think it's the closer 2 temperatures are together the slower the rate of heat transfer.
remember this system was designed without a fmic infront of the condenser.
system may need a lil' tweeking wouldn't say add gas if its the correct charge for a stock car, you may need to take some gas out if your condenser isn't condensing the gas by the time it gets to the txv
