read peters post on cleaning them and went out to do the same on mine.but i only got 1 filter out ?

thought there was two.i even stuck my fingers in to see if i could feel another one but i could not

any help ?
put the old one back in and it cant push up anymore so did some soarers only come with 1 filter

Yes, there should be two, one pulls out from the side after you have the first one out from memory (or is it the top?)

Damien there are 2. One is shoved right down the back of that slot. Look for a little tab to jiggle it out.

"Back of the slot" means toward the front of the car, not up.

Damien, i did mine on Tuesday pulled one out, fully cleaned it and was ready to put it back in before i realised there were actually two. - So we're both dumb!

How dirty do they get! Mine were black as, cleaned them with spray on sugar soap.

You can buy new air con filters from Toyota,think about 45.00 each. Tried cleaning them but they still smelled so i replaced them

Let me know how much they cost Muz

I went to clean mine when I got my car...and they were missing lol.

Also the white 'cap' that closes/holds them in is missing....need to find one from a wrecker. It appears that those little white pieces are different depending on what soarer you have. Found a couple that were different size.

I took mine out and gave them a clean, works a treat now.

They were in pretty horrible shape when i pulled them out though
