Hey guys,

sorry if its been covered, just please help me out.

A little air con place down the road quoted me $600 to fit a new TX valve. I already have the part from toyota i just need it fitted.

Does this sound about right?? How much have people paid, and where (if in melbourne).

no way, i got quoted 325 from nadrad, includes the regas, shop around, what happens is, common in the trade, i know, if you dont want the job, you bump up the price, if customer agrees to price, he happy, shop around,

The reason they gave is that they'd have to pull my whole dash out, and it'd take him ova a day to do.

Thought he was a bit dodgy.
