I was wondering if someone may be able to shed some light on my problem relating to air con.('91 V8).
I have the LCD screen going black so I got one from a wrecker and put it in, same problem, another one same problem. Went through air con check but still not cooling. Replaced LCD unit with my original unit. All buttons operate OK and after diagnostics, all clear (00).
Double check on connections behind head unit and all appears OK. Had gas check done and all OK. No cold air coming from unit. Any ideas what may have happened when I changed over the AC LCD head unit? The AC was working fine before I changed the head unit. Very frustrating!!! All fuses checked, kick panel and inside. Anyone had this problem or have I inadvertently broken wire in connectors?
Any help or advice appreciated.

Possibly broken some connectors, does all other functions work (like face, foot, screen direction) etc etc. Check to see if the compressor clutch is engaging.

Apparently wrong connection behind head unit.
Same size plug put into wrong hole. (heard that before somewhere)
Anyway, air con now up and running, however, TEMS lamp does not come on now???. Not the bulb, coz it's shows when ign first turned on. and rocker switch is OK.
Oh well, sometimes one feels like a real goose.
Thanks for the suggestions and help guys.
