i did a search, cant find anything. does anyone know where i can get a re-gas. just dont want to spend 300 plus dollars at mr cool.

yea, i've shopped around. they all want to charge me for converting to new gas system. sorry if i've upset you, just posting on here for help. maybe i'd rather text on here than sift through the yellow pages and make phone calls. so tell me, what's the purpose of this website/club?

there is a nat rad place near nerang, around the big pet shop there, opposite side of highway.
he charged me $120 full re-gas.

Ken, If your system has R12 in it then you are out of luck (unless you know someone dodgy). It will have to have the new gas in it sometime. I have lost touch with what gasses they are up to now and how compatable they are with your gas.

R12 has been banned for all refrigeration and air conditioning uses in Australia.

yeah but to get it converted from r12 to r134a you will need to pay about 300 to get it flushed out and changed-over etc.
its not as simple as a regass
