People around here don't have any secrets, but there is people who have spent lots of time and money to translate the wiring diagram and those people would like to get some of the money back.
So here you can buy the wiring diagram sales@f1kits.com

Well said Jan.......

But remember, he's NEW, so may not be aware how things operate around here.

I would suggest getting a new auto sparky.

If the sparky won't work out the wiring then he's not much use to anyone.

Matt, he didn't say the sparky couldn't, but that it would save a lot of time by using a wiring diagram. Which is pretty true if you have ever tried tracing wires in a car. :-)

Completely understand Peter.

I just finished installing a Microtech into a S6 RX7 without a factory wiring diagram.

My point is if the sparky doesn't have access to resources like autodata, isn't familiar with Soarers etc then it's time to find someone else.

Customers shouldn't have to help the professionals!

Matt.

Hi Mate,

I have a diagram of the aircon. I don’t know where it originally came from.

Drop me a PM and I will email it over to you.

Hi Jan,

Correct me if I am wrong but is it not illegal to re-sell the diagrams/manuals that TOYOTA created. No matter how much "translated material" you inserted, i wouldnt think it would make it "yours to sell".

Lets say I purchased a novel that was only written in Italian and then translated it to English. Would that give me the right to copy and sell it for myself?

It seems like that may be the case as on the main page it says this is only to be used for research, not to be copied or sold.... If thats the case then why is it being charged for?

For your input....

I am not the one who have translated or sale it, I just have appreciated the person who have done it, so we can work much easier with our cars.
He doesn’t charge an arm and a leg for it.
If you can't see the benefit of that, I feel sorry for you.

I believe the document itself is free in the interest of spreading the love, however you are charged for the postage and handling.

Richard, you aren't paying for the manual, just postage and handling. There is also nothing wrong in asking for a translation fee.

Was the information you offered all legal and above board - did you do it all yourself? If you did, care to share it with us for free?

Callum is right on the money.
Steven, if you don't have a problem with paying "postage and handling", I would suggest you buy it, there is a lot of info in there.

Hi Peter,

All the information I offer to anyone is legal and above board. Like the tutorial I just posted for converting EMV climate control to Non EMV at the following link:

http://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/messages/31680/246760.html?1209197308

I don't know about you guys but if I take the time to do something difficult, I document the process. If I document it, why the hell not share it. Information should be free, no matter how "hard" it was to aquire ;)

Cheers!

Steven, I think we are all starting to get off topic here.
Your not suppling us with enough information

Are you referring to another air conditioning compressor?
Evacuation, and re-gas?
