hi all.

can anyone recommend someone (preferably in Sydney) where i might be able to have my climate control unit repaired ?

unlike many units, my lcd is clear, it's just that i have no backlights on the lcd at all.
all the button backlights work, just not the lcd ones. also the fresh/recirc button is half dead.
i can switch from recirc to fresh, but not back again. the only way to go back to recirc is to switch the ignition off, then back on again, as it seems to default to recirc.

i'm not the greatest with electronics when it comes to soldering, so i would prefer to pay someone to fix it.

any suggestions ?
(yes i did search first)

Jason.

Nam electronics at Marrickville (391 Enmore rd Marrickville ph 0295504144) can fix the lights in the led. It will be cheaper for you to take the unit out and drop it off to him.

Hi Guys
I have 3.0 v6 I got my ac display screen complete black. It does work fine but have to operate it like a blind. Can I solve the problem by just changing the ac display?

Vikas I think you have a 3.0 straight six not V6. You can either buy a good second hand unit from e-bay or a wreckers and simply swap it over. You can also replace just the LCD panel itself, but that's a trickier proposition. Search this forum for some hints how to do this.
