Sometimes when I'm driving along, the climate control randomly decides to set itself to 25.0 degrees. It is very random when it happens and doesn't seem to be linked to anything else.

I have a feeling it might be a fault or loose connection with the 'auto knob' which sets the temperature as it does not have any effect when it says 25.0 degrees.

As you can imagine, having the air vents randomly blow warm air on the recent hot days is pretty annoying. Does anyone have any clues or has seen this before?

I removed my climate control and the big plug on the back was askew. Now it is plugged in properly, everything is back to normal. Even my AC is fixed somehow!

Interesting, had the unit been removed before?

No, but I had been mucking around with the stereo.

I think was getting errors 41,42,43 and 21 or 22(whatever the compressor speed difference one is)

It has been working 2 weeks straight with no problems, nice and cold again!

This is possibly something to check if your AC still blows cold for short periods and the compressor still runs quietly but you get errors and the AC light flashes.

Hi,
Are the error codes only visible/available with a toyota diagnostic computer or is there another way to get them to show up on the emv or elsewhere.
cheers
