Possibility - it may be a defective external temperature sensor. My ac was working fine, until I recently had to drive through a flood and the sensor was submerged in water...I now get no power to the ac as well. I have not confirmed this as the issue though, so I'm just suggesting this as a possibility, as I know in other car's the external temp sensor causes issues with the ac.

I had something similar to this happen to me. No power to AC although i also lost all my odometer and error lights on my dash. Dont know if any of that has happened to you guys. My AC fuse was fine, turns out it was the fuse in the cigerette light spot in the drivers footwell. My cigerette lighter worked fine so i dont know how that works, but as soon as i changed the fuse it it all came back on.
