I have a friend who has a 94 NA and the climate control LCD had bled.. so we changed the whole module with a good one from a 92 TT.. now the fan speed is really low on setting 1, 2 and 3 and then full on with setting 4..

Is there a difference between the modules from the 94 to the 92 ?? or something that may be loose ?

your problem is the year difference.

91-93 CC units wont work properly on 94 and up (definite tried and tested).

I think 94 and 97 units are interchangable (unsure, but some other car electrics do whilst the 91-93 dont eg. rear lights).
