Hello,

I'm after an evaporator for a 1991 LS400/Celsior.
I have rang places such as Cooldrive, Lyons, Autocool, Heatcraft, Ashdown Ingram and found nothing.

Where would I be able to get an evaporator for an LS400, a new one.
And is there any other vehicles that I can use an evaporator from that will fit?

Hi, I replaced the evaporator on my 1991 Soarer with one from a Prado. The replacement is exactly the right height but very slightly narrower so I padded it when fitting. That was several years ago and it's worked fine ever since. The LS400 may be similar. Good luck.

The Soarer and Celsior evaporators are quite different. I'd like to stay on the safe side and get one for a LS400/Celsior, but if somebody has definately fitted one in a Celsior from another car without much problems i'd like to know
