Just reading through some threads..just working out what my problem may be.. Aircon on max cold is warm, can make it get hotter by turning up, Do i need to have it re-gassed ?? or is there something I may be missing ?

Firstly, determine if your a/c clutch is kicking in. Have a friend turn it on and watch the frontmost part of the A/C Compressor, it should engage and begin turning with the pulley.

Get back to me and we can work from there.

Yes it does kick in and revs go up on engine had a feel of the hose with rubber and metal pipe heading into firewall and it does not get icy cold

Hi,

Ok the most common problem is low gas charge. Get it re-gassed.

} When I first bought my car it was like 40degree weather and I put my air con on max and it was warm air flowing so I took it to natrad and the dude checked it for any leaks, and if there was any gas in there. He had to convert the gas type to a new type because your apparently not aloud to use that old one any more, and it was all fixed up. My air con blows pretty cold air now, and has ever since. It cost $170.
