i had my a/c regassed and the system is holding pressure but the a/c compressor doesnt stay on and the light on the dash flashes. if i hotwire the a/c compressor it stays on and blows cold air without a problem. i was wondering if anyone had any ideas or a solution to my problem?

Is there a sensor on the compressor to sense if the clutch is turning? Sometimes if this sensor goes bad the A/C Module might be cutting power to the compressor?

Does the A/C ever work by itself?

Any chance the pressure sensor for gas is disconnected?

i had a look along the high pressure line under the bonnet and everything seemed to be in order, is there anything i should be looking at in the front left corner behind the headlight?
