SO my heater switch stopped working and I bypassed the switch by running constant vacuum to the heater water inlet valve. Now my heater valve stopped working after one year, so I bypassed the heater valve all together (now water will be running through the heater core at all times).

I can still get cold air in the cabin when I turn the heat to low (Max cold or whatever), my question is, when I turn on the A/C in summer, will it not run as cold? Any other side effects to what I am doing?

Where would I find a cheap replacement valve and switch if I were to reinstall (possibly a valve and switch from another type of vehicle?)

Thanks,
