Hi Guys

My air-con compressor has packed it in and I thinking of getting a replacement from the US. From what I have gathered the compressor for the SC300 is the same for a 91 TT. Is that correct?

By the way I found some useful websites on the way

Any good auto electrician can repair your old one. Why take the risk of buying from the US? What if it don't fit when it arrives? And dont forget it still needs gassing.

Because the compressor from the US is a new one which is less than half price of a reconditioned one quoted to me...

I'm pretty sure SC300 or any 2jz-ge compressor will fit the 1jz-gte with one exception you need to change the top plate over from your Soarer one so your a/c hoses fit up apart from that I see no difference between them.
