Just a quick on guys... found the problem with my system, slip sensor o-ring busted, ergo no gas left. My car is a '91, so came with R12, which is what will be going back in. Do I have to do/replace anything if the same gas is being put back (been empty for nearly 14 months), or can I just replace the o-ring and gas it up?

I'd say just replace the o-ring and gas it up. Just did mine yesterday $80.

Cheers, I'll give that a go. Guess it really doesn't matter if it doesn't work at first, especially when you have a mate with nearly 800kg of R12 in his shed which he doesn't mind handing out in exchange for a 6 pack

If the system has been open for 18 months it would be worthwile replacing the reciever dryer as well.

And make sure the system is vacumed out before refilling.
