hey guys wanted to know if anyone knows how the auto aircon works, when i press the auto aircon and turn it to max cold the fan speeds up and it stays on blowing air through the middle vents when it gets closer to the temp on the screen(EMV) it slows the fan down but isnt it supposed to cycle through the different vents. when i press the foot vent it turns the auto off

David, thank for that nicely punctuated query which appears to be related to one posted by Pree. The answer, in short, is no, it does not cycle through the vents. It selects the vent it considers appropriate for the task it is doing. If it is cooling, it will invariably put the air through the dash face vents and perhaps the driver's crutch vent. No air will go through the floor vents until it wishes to heat the car. Fan speed is the primary control for the amount of cooling delivered while the compressor is running.

Pressing any specific vent selection or fan speed will turn off the Auto function. Only changing the temperature setting does not disturb Auto mode.

So it is. I apologise for that because I do try to get people's names right.

Welcome to the forum in live form at last! That is a long time to lurk. What are you after? You will already know about the cars available in the For Sale section here.

Marla, don't worry about that Tim bloke, he is widely known to be completely unreliable . You need a luxury cruiser to glide past those frenetic little TTs exhausted by the roadside.

Must be a nice car Tim, GTL-L. Is that a double luxury?
