hi just wanted to find out if its normal when i turn on the AC that the revs increase enough to actually move the car.

was at a complete stop turned ac on got a shock when the car started moving with my foot already on the brake.

The revs don't increase much when your A/C is on, you might have a problem with your brakes if the idle up from your A/C Is causing the car to move.

yeah that's what im thing it may be, idles at 600, assuming the marks are in 200 increments then jumps to 1k+ then slowly back down.

Yeah you should be able to keep the car at a standstill at 1k, get your brakes checked out or if you like, troubleshoot them yourself if your upto it.

My UZZ30 was a bit like that. My JZZ31 has never done it though (and the aircon is colder too!) I just assumed it was caused by a primitive/inefficient compressor in the older car compared to the newer one.

They use the same series compressor, UZZ30's have a larger displacement compressor and have more airflow through the condenser at idle so if anything the V8's should get colder when both cars systems are in the same condition and working properly.

anyone had the ac revs drop like to 600 rpm
ever since i converted my car to manuel air con when on idles at 600 rpm but when off it idles at 700rpm

The idle should not drop. If anything it should increase or stay the same. You'd want to remove the A/C Fuse and then Turn the power for the A/C On, note if your Idle increases or nothing at all.

If nothing at all then there is a problem.

were would this a\c fuse be located anyone got a photo were i might find it, it realy bugs me
