I'm guessing you haven't done a search on this topic yet? I had to get mine replaced about 8 weeks back. The core its self will only cost about $250-$300, its the labour that will put a dent in your savings. If you can find someone that has done the job before it should only take them about 4 hours labour but if they have never taken a Soarer dash apart before it could take em 10 hours. So for the whole job I would budget for around $700-$1000.

Oh and just out of interest has your cooling system always been taken care of? using good coolant and having it changed once a year? I was told that this is why my core blew because I was using cheap crap that I diddn't bother to ever change, stupid I guess.

Yeh i will be doing the job with a mate who has had a few dashes out in other cars, but never a soarer dash.
Yeh well that was most likely the reason mine blew, i kept putting off changing the coolant, it was the red toyota coolant though, but i just never changed it, until now which is a bit too late...
