Hey everyone,
I replaced my AC unit cause the LCD was stuffed, however, the globes/lights for the main unit aren't working? I took the unit apart and found 3 strange globes and went everywhere trying to get replacement globes but NO-ONE has them...
Also, there is no light behind the fan speed button and the button for recycle air/outside air (between AC button and front window de-mister).
Anyone know how to fix this, or where I can get globes???
There's a table there. They cost around 7 or 8 bux each, and you need three to illuminate the panel. I think the buttons take different lightbulbs, although since I took apart the unit, most of my buttons went out for some reasons and only the speed and recirc/fresh air buttons have light.
Oh, maybe check the lighbulbs first, I bought two lightbulbs, when I took the thing apart, I realised the lightbulbs are fine, must be some loose connection in there, haven't had a chance to fix it yet.
If you do have your lighbulbs blown, I can sell two of them for 5 bux each? I don't need them.

Ok thanks Daniel, I will check the unit later... When I replaced it initially, I carefully checked the elements in the globes and they *looked* ok. I dunno, they might still be broken fused or there may be a short somewhere.
Thanks heaps for directing me to the table, called toyota just then and they can get some for me. When I went in to see them, they told me they dont stock and will never stock them... Just goes to show you.
I will let you know when I have pulled the unit apart again, don't have another day off for a while. Thanks again.

Hmmmm, thats a thought... I am definately going to consider it. I would want to get everything done at the same time though. The A/C, the radio and the Gear shifter. Looks incredible though.
