I had a thought so I went a lookin, This may be the cheaper alternative to getting used arms etc.

Don't know what the prices are or if they can do em, I just looked for em, ok.

So it's up to you's to contact them if you need lower arms because of the ball joint failure.

They drill them, drill and tap the hole, put a grease nipple on then inject a resin that dries to form a hard rubber. If the joint gets noisy, it can be greased later down the track.

I had this done in NSW to my tie rod end and they give a 40000k, 2 year warranty. He told me recently did the lower ball joint of a Soarer on the car without removing it. From memory he said this was $120, which is cheaper than buying one and without having to remove it. I think it was towards the Mona Vale area, but will get all the details if anyone wants them.
