Hi everyone, I have just had the great pleasure of spending the day with Alan Stevenson and Nazim Erdem in Alan's soarer at a pre targa track day at Baskerville raceway. The day was organised by Alan, Adam Spence from Redback racing, and sponsored by Vodaphone.(I hope the plug is ok for such a great cause). It was also used to promote the Australian Quadriplegia Association and bring awareness of the fantastic achievements of people with spinal cord injuries, Alan and Nazim included. A cheque was presented to Alan and Nazim for the AQA for the sum of $5000. Of course I took a heap of photo's(see below) and will get to as many stages as I can next week and photograph their progress and post them up.

Ha Ha thanks Neil for the compliments you ol bugga, the only rubber I have laid was what I threw on the bedroom floor. Mate the car is going well, thanks again for the help to set the blower up. I had a quick look at the boost gauge down the back straight today (between fits and spazm's) and the bloody thing said 10 lb, but was making the dreaded detonation death rattles, I slowed down after that. We will have to look at solving these probs after Targa. Had a run against Evo, and there's nothing in it down the back straight and up the hills the blower hauls them all in. Great pics Niko, and thanks for your support mate, next year you should join us and help support the Soarer fans by entering. Did you get any pics of the engine bay for Neil?

Thanks Neil, could not have done it with out your expertise mate, the kit fitted a treat with only minor and personal adjustments needed, money well spent. We will be talking in the near future regarding extractors and an ECU, no sense stopping now. Whats next, 1- Jap Import,,,2-??maybe a Yank Import??????????

Not sure of the output Ken, but it does the side shuffle dance when you put the loud pedal down to early comeing out of a corner.
Don, every time I think of Caddy's, I think back to Filo Beddo, and Clive in every which way but loose, "scrap the Caddy Clive"

Easier for you to get into a LHD from the footpath :-)
My brother just took delivery of another '68 Firebird 400. Down the full resto path we head again, all my spare time will soon be spent in his shed gutting it and getting it set-up on his rotiserie.
