This Link takes you to rateitall.com and about 50 owner opinions of their soarers, (unfortunately with the odd idiotic comment too). Quite interesting reading - most show just how highly owners regard their Soarers.

Avin, I imagine some little turd sitting bored witless in a school computer lab somewhere wrote the "this car sucks balls" comment. It has that ring about it..

If he does not know how it drives then WTF is he commenting on, or why?
"Well, my name is Jessica. I'm 16 years old and I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. I'm in grade 10. I like music, movies and books. I'm hooked (shamefully) on celebrities, they keep me occupied, because amazingly enough they're so much more interesting than me. My all time favorite movie is The Outsiders, which triggered an obsession with Rob Lowe *swoons*. Don't worry, I also like actors that are closer to my age, ie: Nathan Carter, Joshua Jackson, Barry Watson. I alos like Katie Holmes, Mandy Moore..."

Love the reviews, makes me feel all that more comfortable buying a Soarer.
When I first got a drive just on 2 yrs ago now, it hooked me in, I took a 2.5TT for a test drive at a caryard, took it around corners at a pace that would see most 1.5+ tonne cars get into horrible trouble, and she took the corner like I was babying the car.
Gave it small bursts along the back streets to see what it was like in respect to dropping back in gears and getting up and moving, and was quite impressed from the responce (comparing it to a Skyline 2.5 that I had driven only an hour before).
Took the car along some very bumpy bush-worth roads (like Parramatta Rd in the middle of Sydney), and was suprised at the comfort level, and also the lack of sound given off from the road and the tires (must be all the insulation), so overall I fell in love with the car.
I also found all these cool features, like auto-lock doors, reversing sensors, indicator assist lights at the front (didn't Holden brag and claim fame to these in 2001 with it's Senetor HSV??, but Toyota had it on the 91 models some 10 yrs earlier).
As a whole package, the car took me by the feet, turned me up-side-down, and dragged me into the world of luxury, but not only that, when I placed said right foot flat on the floor, the car turned around to me and slapped me in the face (it work me up with it's outstanding pickup and desire to move).
I haven't owned a Soarer yet, but from the limited time I have had in them (even the earlier models) they have been nothing but awesome cars.
I am also close with many people that have owned them for years, and they say very much the same, once you have owned a Soarer, unless you have found one of the occasional lemons, you wont want to let it go.
I know 5 people with Soarers, both the TT and V8 models, and 4 of them would sell their own grandmother to never have to change to another car, but 1 of these guys has had nothing but issues and problems, he fixes 1 thing only to have to move across to something else, it's sending him broke, and it's his worst ever investment, but he brings a lot of this on himself, taking the cheaper option on parts replacement, doing his own work, cutting corners, so it's not really a suprise he is suffering issues.
Personal, Viva Le Soarer, it's still ahead of it's time, 16 yrs on, and it's still a winner.
