To adjust your headlights, you need a flat car park or drive way, a nice wall, a 10mm spanner and some darkness.
Tip: It's easier to do one light at a time, put a rag over one and then do the other one.
Align the car so the headlights shine square against the wall. Slowly drive the car back and forth a bit in a straight line perpendicular to the wall. Watch to see which direction the lights appear to move on the wall.
Theoretically the main part of the beam shouldn't move up/down or sideways as the car moves back/forward. If it does, then pop the bonnet and adjust the headlight using the bolts illustrated in the photo below.

Adjusting the headlights.
Photo is of the RH (drivers) main headlight. The yellow circle indicates the top adjuster - used for up/down adjustment. The red circle indicates the lower adjuster - used for left/right adjustment.
Main Headlight Adjustments Turn top screw clockwise :- to move light >>> Up Turn top screw anticlockwise :- to move light >>> Down Turn bottom screw clockwise :- to move light >>> Left Turn bottom screw anticlockwise :- to move light >>> Right
High Beam Spotlights Turn top screw to clockwise :- to move light >>> Right Turn top screw to anticlockwise :- to move light >>> Left Turn bottom screw clockwise :- to move light >>> Up Turn bottom screw anticlockwise :- to move light >>> Down
