| Its f*cking awesome mate I was gonna wait until she was completely running but these latest photos gave me such a chubby I thought I'd post up now. And I'm thinking its not a million miles away now from starting, I mean its just a few little wires to be connected up Lotsa stuff / bits added / done... - 2JZ vvti - Holset HX40, bored out wastegate - Oversized Ally Radiator - Clutch rebuilt and springs uprated - Custom pipework and manifold (6 matched length pipes) Already had GReddy FMIC, Walbro fuel pump and full exhaust. To be done in the future... 550's / Adaptronic e1280 Thanks heaps mate, really impressed

| Strewth that would be fast! And if my engine were ever to blow, I'd like to do something like this. Then again, a twin screw on my engine would satisfy my need for more power! |

Stock 2JZ-GTE VVT-i, Holset HX40 with waste gate enlarged. Going to get it going on stock ECU at first, then when all is stable, install Adaptronic 1280 Super ECU.

V8 I am thinking around, as there are a few options. Maybe 2 x HX35's 1 x HX50 / 55 2 x KKR380's There will be a good chance there will some humps in the lower front corners of the hood. I have another idea on setups, but we wont go there just yet Costs, I could not even start to explain. All I can say is,( As I normally do ), start the process in reverse. Make your mind up if you want to do Street Tuff / Drag / Track. Diff ( Hunt for a T2 ) Trans ( Tuff Auto or Manual ) Exhaust ECU ( Your call or my recommendation ) Brake Upgrade ( Nothin wrong with Celsiors ) Suspension to suit the new power level Turbo / Supercharger ( Check your $$ balance ) This way, at least you can stop the process at any time upto the forced install and still get enjoyment from your car. |

| Hey Neil, What's involved in boring out the wastegate and how much does it cost? I have my eyes on a Holset HE351cw, (22mm internal gate iirc) and enlarging it sounds preferable to buying an external gate. do you modify the wastegate spring too? |

| You will have to find a larger plate before doing any machine work to the hole. |

| What do you mean by plate? like the wastegate flapper? I think there's a dude in the US who does 40mm ones |
