Super Charged,
Manual,, useing an R154 Transmission,
Maintaining the PULL TYPE Clutch.

I beleive this to be the First of It's kind in the World !!

Car is absolutly Awesome to drive.

I am currently turning a JZA70 Gearbox into a JZX100 one..heheheh

Then short shifting it :-)

Then Install that behind my NEW 6 Button Plate and 1,100kg Pressure Plate :-)

Hey Neil .. I know this thread is as old as the hills but i am very interested in seeing you used a non remote shifter .. Did you have any problems with the dash being in the way .. I have a C's short shifter that i purchased for the R154 but can only use it with a non remote shifter and i was told i would have to use a remote shifter for this conversion .. I guess the knowing the length of the bell housing would help ..

In the first pic of the gearstick can you remember if it is in 1st gear or neutral in that pic ..

The master cylinder is pretty neat too but i think my throttle body setup is a little different to yours (runs to car with torch and laptop)..

I would really appreciate any tips ..

Shifter also depends on what R154 you have used.
Is yours from a JZA70 or a JZZ30 ?
Did you buy a shifter to suit the JZZ30 but have a JZA70 trans ?

I can't be sure but I would assume the box is from a JZA70 as it was from a 1JZ Cressida conversion .. The remote shifter came with the box .. The Cs short shifter I bought from someone on here only to find I would not be able to use it with a remote shifter .. From digging around it has appeared that a remote shifter is necessary for the 1UZ/R154 conversion ,,,,, that is until I saw yours =) .. My gearstick is also very tall like yours ..

I had a look at my charger setup and I should have the room to fir the master in the same place which is good news ..
