Cheers Ryan, compliment appreciated. Mate, when i was first looking for a Celsior it HAD to be black, but after looking at many Celsiors in Adelaide, all in terrible condition, i gave that idea up and found the one i own now for sale in Canberra. Now the White is growing on me, to be honest the idea has crossed my mind of painting it black or dark blue, but you don't see many white ones around and for that reason i will leave her as is.

Has any one done a BFI to their Celsior/LS400 Airbox? From what Ive seen its very different from Soarer Airbox so wonder how its done. Any one got pictures of the airbox its self?

Here is a pic, of my CF Celsior, modifications are tinted windows, new motor, stage 1 shift kit, 3 inch twin system(fitted when i bought the car), height controller, and of course the factory faded out temperature control panel. My car is back on the road now after having blown a head gasket and the reason why? rear welsh plug was leaking which left an air lock in the head which left a hotspot and then the head warped or similar. but all good now transmission shifts so positive and new engine is stronger than the old one, just need to do some km's now then we will put the gas injection system on. cheers joe

Is this welsh plug an after market part just on yours that went bad and not a fault with all other v8 celsior motors?

Okay here's what i know or remember, six welsh plugs all up, but two of them are for oil so i didn't replace them(can't see them rusting out) there is two in the valley and two at the back of the heads, now my left one was seeping badly or rather leaking under pressure, i think we just bought off the shelf welsh plugs but maybe they were from toyota. to replace them you have to either take the heads off or engine out, they're in a pig of a position!!!! but mine where definately stuffed a small tap and a screw driver went straight through them, but my orignal motor is stuffed no compression or not much and plently of death rattles on start up. but the new motor is killer plenty more power and the shift is so positive it puts you back in your seat not like the sluggish original shift, if you wanna know more just email me at jnebl@dodo.com.au cheers Joe

hey guys, i just joined up ;)
i've got a 1990 C-F model, black on black with cream leather 18x9" + 18x9.5" oz racing "opera" rims with dunlop lemans lm701 tyres, Fronts are 235/40/18 and the rears are 265/35/18. it also has an ASE 664 height controller, which im still trying to work out....
stock at the moment, but i wont really start modding anything till next year starting with the exhaust (any ideas?) as its quiet as a mouse! also maybe a rod millen or injen air intake if i can get a decent cold air feed through the front bumper, debage the front and rear and might replace them with lexus badges but still undecided.. wouldnt mind a billet grill, but ive heard they are hard to find. I'll be changing the rims for some with decent dish as well, and hopefully installing some aftermarket bags....
the stereo is stock, but actually sounds very nice considering its 16yrs old... thinking about replacing the deck and stacker with a carputer, having a 7" touchscreen where the deck is and mounting the computer where the stacker is....
here's some pics.... my cel with my other pride and joy.... opel/holden calibra
great forum you guys have here.... hope to make some new friends, and gain some valuable info about my celsior ;)
