Had a look at one of my plugs the other day and discovered that I had a 1.194 mm gap !! I have taken my Celsior from 112,000 K's to 152,000 K's and it still had the genuine plugs in it , as the leads are 16 years old you run the risk of cracking one while you change the plugs , caps and rotors , so did some research and found out about STI Karlyn Industries leads and now that I have fitted them I can say that they are as good as if not better than standard !! New Laser platinum plugs plus leads and rotor and caps came to less than Aus $400.00 including freight and exchange rate , a very good price . And what a difference , as I said to my wife when I had a look at the one plug that had no electrode at all " we are lucky it goes at all !! " Highly recommended .

Cheers
Will be interesting to see how they go.
I've used Bosch and TopGun leads on the 1UZ before. And both sets have fallen apart the first time I've gone to remove them (after being on the car <3 months).

Yeah, I've also used Bosch and TopGun many times in the past, and just about always found them to be flawless.
However, I think with the extra heat trapped in by the covers, the 5mm lead, and the extra long boot caused by the FE head, they just fall apart when you try and remove them.

Not to take away from Eagle or Top Gun [ as I have used both in the past ], but these 5 mm STI leads are just in another class , specific 75 degree fittings in S/S , double silicon , spiral wire , etc , etc .

Normally Brendan I'd agree with you , but I get them $25 under list price at US$85.00 [ normally US$110.00 ]so I don't think a group buy would get anymore off , would save a little bit on the freight though . Still I got leads , plugs , rotors and caps in with the freight at $42.00 , so really not an issue .

Adrian I've just ordered another set for a mate [ plugs , caps , rotors and leads ] and I just ring them up , ask for Ralph and then pay by credit card over the phone , too easy !! Do this no later 05:30 Brisbane time and not on a Monday as they are 14 odd hours behind us . the number is 0011-1800 370 0041 . Make sure you deal with Ralph , if he's not available ring back the next day .
