Greg, these wheels are growing on me and how often can you pick up a brand new set of 19" wheels and tyres for $1700. Some people have said the car needs more dish, but there is about 2.5" of dish. Here are another couple of photos to see if they will grow on you too! But when it comes down to it, its only me that has to like them

There is nothing wrong with them. They do make celsior look even more prestige too. I just prefer non mesh, but I bet they look even better in real life. Price is great, no doubt. You are absolutely correct....as long as you like them, who cares about the rest

Hi Greg. Thanks for asking and yes, still very happy with the car. I have the exhaust done from the cats back, so now it sounds like a V8.
The only problem is that the motor pings its head off, at times. I must say firstly that I haven't even pulled a spark plug out or anything, but the pinging is mainly under very light throttle and it has a mind of its own. Some days its worse then others and the next day I cant hear any. It even does it cruising along at 100kmph. I will have to pull my finger out and then pull some spark plugs out and go from there.
The car uses about 13.2L per 100k's average, so I think this is normal. Haven't done a highway drive to see what she drops to, but may be going to Canberra in a couple of weeks.

What octane fuel are you using? Never put regular unleaded in it. These were set up to run on the better fuel used in Japan, rather than the crap we have here. Id be concerned if you are using 98 octane fuel. At the very least you should be on using 95.
