If you mean the black unit in the 2nd pic from the top, no, thats the phone unit.
The amp is mounted just above where that mounts, and I believe it purely does the sub, not any of the speakers.
I just wired in a cheap Pioneer deck to get some tunes (sick of Japanese frequencies and a dead stacker), and so I'll get a cheap 2 channel amp soon and rehookup the factory sub (4" speakers just don't cut it).

Sorry...I meant "factory amp you removed in the same area as the pics above are showing. Sub amp is mounted directly under the CD stacker? Not on the side where the tool kit is located?
I need to get to the amp as my brand new factory sub is not working. I guess I should check the amp connections.
