Hi all,
Have attached a few photos of my new Celsior. Although you may have seen it in the for sale section recently, its still new to me. When I bought it, I had full intentions of getting a full respray but after reading stuff from 'Greg Nikitiuk' and others I decided to give her a good clean. Well Greg was right, the paint on these cars is bloody beautiful.
There are still numerous stone chips over the car, including the bonnet, front guards, roof and doors. Having spent about 6 hours cutting and polishing, I think I will be leaving it as is for a little while yet. The rear bumper still needs paint where someone previous to me has bumped it and the paint is fractured. But I love the car and see why so many others do as well. Still thinking about changing the wheels for starters and we will see what else happens over time.
Also saw a few of the Soarer guys at Eastern Creek the other night and had a chat with one of them. There were some good times pulled and a lot of smoke on the start line. Something the Celsior will never see.
Hope to meet up with some of you in the near future and see your Celsiors.

Well done Kevin, she looks nice and shiny
Lower half and bumpers were resprayed on my celsior too. It is normal for that age, you may look into it. At the same time inquire about touching up the scratches.

Greg, as with your car I think it needs some chrome under the guards. Have never really been a lover of chrome wheels (maybe 20+ years ago when most wheels were steel) but I think with the dark colour, it needs a lift. Probably wont go any bigger than 18's, keeping in mind what you said about your hard ride on the 19's.
Any more thoughts ???
P.S. Also want to get the factory roof mounted TV working, at lease as a DVD player for my little girl. Will have to look into the wiring one day in the future.

Kevin, nice ride buddy, yeah I seen it in the for sale section also, looks like a clean car, your right on one thing the celsior's are not really known for fast 1/4 mile times but they will have no trouble turning those tyres into a cloud of smoke and rubber, well the two I have dont anyway and a friend dosent seem to have trouble either. Just thought I would mention that he he Cheers Joe

Thanks guys. What do you think of this photo, I played around a little with photoshop and added these wheels. Don't laugh, it was my first attempt - still learning photoshop.
Joe - Are you saying these cars will still smoke the tyres up?? Haven't even floored it off the mark yet. I gues you also have to turn the traction control off.
