True, i saw a pic of one somewhere once, looked very tacky and cheap.
Cant believe Lexus signed off on those for Australia.

' Gday Luke,
I just saw your post about sat nav in your Celsior, and wondered if i may please ask if it is difficult to fit to a non sat nav equipped vehicle?
I have a 90 Celsior and have often thought about trying to find a dash unit from Japan to replace my a/c and radio. Cost may be prohibitive i fear though, and also getting all the cableing etc. to complete the job.
'

If you had an Altezza I would say get the plastic screen part and fit an aftermarket LCD to it, with the Celsior it is much more dificult as the screen controls the air/con and radio etc so you would need other bits to - like fitting a Soarer EMV in to a TT Soarer :-)

EDIT Removed senders name as he did not want his PM posted. I have left the contents as I get asked this every week.

'please dont post PM's for everyone to read...thats the idea of sending a PM rather than posting it in the forum'

Luke are you running RGB or composite to the EMV for the sat nav?

RGBs as always (same as all the conversion I do) :-)

That way you can hear/use the hifi as normal.
