Thought it was best to ask this question here. Has anyone ever put the Australian Lexus LS400 radio into a Toyota Celsior. I imagine that it would go straight in with the same wiring plugs, but not sure. This will solve the need for the frequency booster and the radio channel would display correctly.
My car has a booster fitted before I bought it, but the FM is very scratchy and sounds like there is two channels playing at once, sometimes.

Gday Kevin, i did it in mine and it slotted straight in with no problem. All the plugs were the same, and FM reception was much better. I know the 90-92 models of each are fine, not sure if 93-95 radios would be ok in an earlier Celsior. Ill try to get a pic tomorrow.

Here's a couple of pics Kev, forgot to mention that AM is stereo also on local LS400 radio's. Hardly relevant in the city, but handy if you're out bush with AM only available.
