I am a owner of a second Toyota Celsior or LS400 in the USA. I had a 1990 LS400 and now a 1995 LS400. I love the Celsior alot more then the Soarer because it has extremely quiet and smooth ride. Another plus would be the 4 doors and its great for kids and small family.

However, I feel the Celior needs little more kick. So I am doing a 4.7 liter swap using the Toyota Tundra shortblock with an additional of .4 Liter stroke. That will bring it up to 5.1L. I would like to stay to stock compression of 10.4:1 and just build it from there. I would also like to document this process so other can benefit from it.

This might take a year or so but here is my plan for dyno:

* Stock Dyno
* 5.1L shortblock change dyno
* 5.1L with Stage II cams
* 5.1 with Stage II cams with oversize valves and port heads
* 5.1 with Stage II cams with oversize valves and port heads with high flow headers
* 5.1 with Stage II cams with oversize valves and port heads with high flow headers and mid pipe
* 5.1 with Stage II cams with oversize valves and port heads with high flow headers and mid pipe follow by a Eaton M112 Supercharger (6 psi)

My goal is to keep the super quiet and smooth idle and ride with increasing power. My goal is to achieve 350 rwhp with 450 rwtq. This is my daily driver and would like to keep the power below the threshold of the transmission. Reliability and longivity is very important along with stock drivibility.

Anyone here share this type of wild dream like me?

Very far out indeed! Sounds excellent David. Please keep us posted on how it goes... Results will be awesome if your successful. :-)

I suppose you could even call it an 'LS510' once it's eventually done!
