For when I have my exhaust done Ive been thinking about doing something a little more interesting than just having the stock tips refitted.

So I thought why not get 4 of the stock tips and have a 1/4 or so of one to surround the side of one that sticks out slightly more like we see on some Mercs and Porsches... This will save space too so they fit in the bumper cut outs. Heres some pictures I altered to show this idea.

What do you guys think?

That looks good Mike, similar to what the HSV guys are doing to their tips to match their tail lights.

Yeah just like that. :-) Its not a bad idea, Something rather original - I just dont want to go and buy something Id rather make something no one else has!

Still I think doing something more conventional will be the better way to go, like this. Just same style, better quality, larger tips. A very nice look IMO! I think thats the way too go really, the cut outs would look great filled with some decent tips :-)

The quad thing looks just too 'busy'...

Either way is pretty nice, but I think if you want 4 tips they might look better seperate.

Yeah, your probably right Matt, But with having one cut into another side of the tip they would fit in the bumper cut outs better..
