Looking through some of the archive posts, I came across the post raving about the Ts-E1 Jump in the Diagnostics port today. Id never really taken any interest in it before as I had a UZZ30 but now having a TEMS Celsior I figured Id give it a go...
Results are awesome, It actually works, the handling was so much harder and more stiff its fantastic. From what I also noticed the power steering is stiffer too and the TRC/ABS systems switch off.
Really impressed, now I can see why people go on about it so much.
However whats the deal with it? Does it have any bad effects or anything. I wouldnt really want to leave it on all the time, seems a bit doggy with my old shocks, As far as I know they are originals anyway...

Mike,
This is the first I have heard of this and am not sure what it does. Can you please expand on what you have said and/or possibly add the thread link that you mentioned.

Is there any reason why you couldn't connect up these to two terminals and run a breaker switch mounted inside the car. That way you could activate when needed for when more spirited driving is in your veins. Again, its only a concern if it may cause long term damage.

I think some people have actually done this on soarers.
Yeah you do have a point about possible damage. Personally I see it unlikely the shocks surely wouldnt get damaged... I mean they were designed to have variable damping pressures so I cant see where it would harm it, Plus they are Toyota built therefore strong...
Still put simply since the pressures are large with in the shock on the track day setting it could increase chance of leaks if the shocks are getting old... New ones I doubt would have a problem
Im no expert but thats jut the way I look at it, anyone able to confirm the track day setting as safe?

But it takes abs off. They have already saved me from rear-ending someone once. Stopped on a dime. Sure you get increased performance but if it comes to a sudden stop do you think the 2 ton barge will pull up in time?
